Plant Manager Dr. Frauke von Knoop and Susanne Ossino (HR Business Partner) are actively involved in supporting young female graduates on their way into the world of work and providing them with valuable insights into practical experience.
The program offers talented female graduates the opportunity to make contacts in the business world at an early stage, develop their individual strengths and prepare themselves for future challenges. In regular meetings with their mentors, they not only receive valuable feedback, but also targeted support to help them develop professionally and personally. Workshops and keynote speeches complement the program and help the mentees to sharpen their professional direction.
One inspiring example is the mentoring partnership between Dr. Frauke von Knoop and Ashtar Abnoel, who is completing her Master's degree in “Production and Logistics” at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. For the 23-year-old student, it is a special opportunity to learn from an experienced female manager, to assert herself in a male-dominated professional field and to further strengthen her self-confidence.
Baumer hhs sees the mentoring program as an important contribution to promoting young talent and securing skilled workers. The participating tandems will work together intensively until November 2025 and gain valuable impetus for their professional future. The enthusiasm and commitment of those involved show how important such programs are - for the personal development of the graduates and for the companies that benefit from highly qualified, well-prepared specialists.
