By implementing strict hygiene concepts, Baumer hhs managed to prevent the pandemic from severely impacting operational processes. Because mobile working was already an established practice at our company, we had no difficulty decentralising a large segment of our workforce. Efficient flextime regulations give our employees maximum flexibility to structure their work hours.

Thanks to the statements of our employees in various video statements, Baumer hhs 2022 was honored as a family-friendly company by the Krefeld Network Economy and Family - consisting of responsible persons from the city of Krefeld, employment agency, Sparkasse Krefeld, Stadtwerke Krefeld and others - and took 2nd place in the category of medium-sized companies. Our employees and the jury particularly emphasized the very good and flexible compatibility of work and family through home office and flextime, the possibility of combining a job and the care of a relative (for this we have established two company care guides in the team through further training), the option of completing a dual trainee or study program or starting a personally adapted return to work after maternity leave.

Other employees felt supported by the option of a job bike for leisure activities outside of working hours or taking advantage of Salvea's free external health and fitness services.

Relief through knowledge.

Constant and rapid end developments in various professional fields can quickly lead to a feeling of being overwhelmed or resentful, and this can spill over into private life. To ensure that all employees are always up to date with the latest knowledge, Baumer hhs offers preventive internal and external further education, training, workshops and courses.
